The rain fell so hard but the car wouldn't start

It was dark, I was soaked but in-side I was choked

But God hears our ev'ry plea
Sometimes He sends an angel to help
And they often look like you and me
Often it's just a word that is softly spoken
A word from a faithful friend
To lighten the dark put my feet on a rock
Bringing healing to the broken
